I have stood just slightly to the side of the Fight for GK movement. Most in the movement would view me as part of the movement although I have not actually actively participated. I simply had the chance to be close. I know many, but not all, of the people directly involved in the movement. I watched the lead up to the trial and the trial itself (although I dared not to be in the actual courtroom). #PrayforGK on its face was noble if you also #PrayforTheVictims. I have no problem with people praying for someone even if that person has committed a crime. In fact, that original hashtag and slogan was chosen to draw in people who were not sure of guilt or innocence. However, the effect of the verdict and the switch to #FightforGK drew me in to watch…
