MINNESOTA
KSTP

A woman who says she was abused by a Minnesota priest is expected to speak Wednesday about her experiences and why she’s coming forward.
Attorney Jeff Anderson will file an amended complaint on her behalf, naming as defendants the Diocese of Crookston; the Diocese of Fall River, Massachusetts; and the Servants of the Paraclete.
Anderson says the victim is the first Minnesota woman to speak publicly about her alleged abuse.
She claims she was abused by Father James R. Porter, a convicted child molester who was suspected of abusing more than 100 children in multiple states.
