A 68-year-old pastor was accused of sexually assaulting a child while he was working at a church in California, according to authorities.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department identified him as Quintilo Sagrero. He was charged with two counts of “lewd acts upon a child.”
Authorities said the alleged incidents occurred on October 7 while Sagrero was serving as the pastor of the Templo Pentecostal El Camino Church in Compton.
Based on the nature of the offenses, detectives believe there may be additional unidentified victims and are seeking the public’s help in identifying any additional victims,” the sheriff’s office said on Thursday in a news release.
Sagrero was arrested on November 6 and he is being held in custody on a $200,000 bail.
