Bishop Juan Arzube
From Ecuador. Ordained for Archdiocese of Los Angeles. In 2003 allegations arose of abuse of an 11-year-old boy 1975-76, while pastor at St. Alphonsus parish in East Los Angeles. L.A. archdiocese listed one accuser. Arzube denied the allegations. Retired in 1993. Named in a civil suit which was included in $660M settlement with archdiocese in summer 2007. Died 12/25/07.
