Monsignor. Died in 1991. Accused in a civil suit filed in 3/2004 of abuse of a 15- to 16-year-old boy 1971-1972. Claims against Reardon were included in the 10/2005 $22M settlement between the Archdiocese and 43 plaintiffs alleging abuse by 14 priests. Included on the Archdiocese's list 1/22/2019. On the Norwich diocese's list 2/22/2019.

Fr. John D. Reardon

One of 21 priests placed on administrative leave by the Philadelphia Archdiocese on 3/7/11, pending investigation for allegations involving minors. Reardon's last assignment was as pastor at St. John of the Cross Parish in Roslyn. His name is included on a secret 1994 memo from Fr. Wm. Lynn to Msgr. James Molloy (released 2/27/12) regarding priests in secret archives who were accused of sexual misconduct with a minor. On 5/4/12 the Archdiocese found the allegations against Reardon substantiated and that he was unsuitable for ministry. Canonical process pending. The Archdiocese did not provide details of the allegations. In 2011 a news outlet reported that in the early 1990s a woman alleged that Reardon sexually abused her when she was 9 years old.

Fr. Thomas M. Reardon

Accused, along with two other priests, in lawsuits filed in 2004 by six people of sexual abuse at a lake home or at church. The priests allegedly would give the kids drugs and alcohol. Reardon left active ministry in 1989 and resigned from the priesthood. He went on to work as a substance abuse counselor. A suit against Reardon and one other priest settled in 4/2007. Other claims settled in 8/2008 as part of a $10M settlement involving twelve priests. Named in 2/2011, 4/2011 and 11/2011 suits claiming the sexual abuse of boys. There are at least 24 accusers. Another lawsuit was filed in 7/2018. Included on the Diocese's list 9/5/2019, which notes multiple substantiated allegations. Laicized. A credible allegation was announced in 10/2020 of the abuse of a child in 1972 at Camp Little Flower; Reardon was camp director. Settlement in 2021. Reardon died 1/16/2022 at a senior living facility in south Kansas City.
