Satmar Man Who Tried To Force Child Sex Abuse Victim To Drop Charges Gets Sweetheart Plea Deal

Yesterday, I reported that Abe Rubin – who is charged with bribery, witness tampering and coercion for trying to force Nechemya Weberman’s victim to leave the country and not testify against Weberman – would get a sweetheart plea deal and will not receive any prison time. In exchange for that, Brooklyn’s challenged DA Charles J. Hynes would get the Satmar bloc vote.

Today as part of a sweetheart plea deal, Rubin admitted he offered the victim’s then-boyfriend $500,000 to get her out of the country so she could not testify against Weberman. For that crime, Rubin could serve at most 6 months in jail – but he likely won’t serve any time at all.

The DA ‘asked’ for prison time. But the DA had also allowed Rubin to plead guilty to a an E felony. People convicted of E felonies with no prior criminal history rarely get prison sentences, and the judge therefore said he will sentence Rubin, in late October at the earliest, likely to no prison time – another coodinated travesty of justice in corrupt Brooklyn.

Satmar got what it wanted and Brooklyn DA Charles J. Hynes will now get what he wants – the Satmar bloc vote.
