Arrested in 2003 for viewing child abuse images on his work computer. Komar had been a chaplain at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center for 10 years. The hospital’s computer technician noticed the websites in the computer history and notified police. A video showed Komar accessing the sites. Placed on leave. As of 11/2013 he had been living without restrictions at St. John Vianney Residence for Retired Priests in Rutherford, NJ for several years. Included 2/13/2019 on the Archdiocese’s list of credibly accused. Died in 2018.
