Included on Attorney Garabedian’s 3/28/16 list of accused clerics named in civil claims resulting in settlements or arbitration awards. A 90-year-old man claimed MacGuinness sexually abused him at St. Joseph’s in Roxbury MA 1938-40. Also worked in Beachmont, Marblehead, Lawrence, Sharon and Peabody parishes. Chaplain for both a boys’ orphanage and a girls’ academy. Several leaves of absence marked his career. Died 4/14/55.
