Entered the convent in 1952. Taught in Birmingham and Troy, NY. Taught in several schools in Oahu, Hawaii 1966-1970. Returned to the Diocese of Albany in 1970, where she was involved in “various ministries.” In 1982 she went back to Hawaii long-term, as a teacher and athletic on Maui, and as a teacher and principal, athletic director and development director at schools in Honolulu. She died in Hawaii 7/13/2021. Maracoccia was accused in a lawsuit filed in 6/2020 of sexually abusing a minor 1964-1965 while assigned to St. Joseph in Green Island, NY.
