Fr. Ralph H. Sodano
Placed on administrative leave in 2002 due to allegations that he sexually abused two minors in the 1970s. The Diocese deemed the allegations credible in 2003 and the case was sent to the Vatican. The Diocese requested a church trial. As of 4/2008 there were four allegations received against Sodano; two settled. The two allegations in 2002 did not result in settlements because those plaintiffs did not seek damages. Sodano died 10/22/2008 in Ponte Vidra Beach, FL. Include 2/13/2019 on the Diocese’s list of credibly accused.
