Fr. Joseph Walter Grill
“J. Walter.” Monsignor. In 3/1994 the Diocese received an allegation that Grill sexually abused a St. James Parish altar boy, who was age 12 and in seventh grade, on multiple occasions in 1969. Grill denied the allegation. He died in 6/1994. In 1/2004 another man reported that Grill sexually abused him when was a seventh- and eighth-grade altar boy St. James, between 1964 and 1965.
