Fr. William Paul Walters
Ordained in 1963. Laicized in 1974, married. Named publicly as accused in the MI Attorney General’s 12/15/2025 Diocese of Grand Rapids Report. In 2005 a man told the Diocese that when he was 13 or 14 years old in 1964-1965, Walters repeatedly sexually abused him, and that the priest also sexually abused his younger brother. Walters denied the allegations.
