Detectives say there may be other victims.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims after a Pacoima pastor was arrested on child sex abuse charges, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department (SBSD) said.

Junior Andrew Bennett, 32, of Piñon Hills, was arrested on suspicion of child sex abuse after allegedly using his role as head Pastor of Breakthrough Church to target minors. According to SBSD, the suspect, who was known as Prophet Junior Bennett, used his title to “manipulate minors and ultimately sexually assault them.”

Bennett faces charges that include sodomy of a minor, lewd acts with a child and oral copulation of a minor.  Detectives say there may be other victims.

Anyone with information on the case or who believes they have been victimized by Bennett is urged to contact SBSD’s Victor Valley station at 760-552-6800 or 760-956-5001. Anonymous tips can be made by contacting the We-Tip Hotline at 1-800-78CRIME.
