According to court documents, four additional charges were filed on Wednesday against Michael McMullen.
A Dauphin County pastor accused of sexually abusing minors in his congregation faces new charges this week.
Last year, police charged Michael A. McMullen Sr. after a victim reported alleged inappropriate behavior in September. That investigation prompted further victims to come forward, leading to a second case being filed in February 2026.
Now, McMullen has been charged in a third case, in which he faces three felony counts and one misdemeanor — including indecent assault of a person under 13, corruption of minors, aggravated indecent assault of a person under 13 and indecent assault of a person under 13.
At the time of the first case, McMullen served as a pastor at St. John AME Church in Lebanon. He was named the Chief Marshall of the First Episcopal District – AME Church in February 2025, according to a post on the district’s Facebook page.
In response to a request for comment, the First Episcopal District told FOX43 that McMullen was asked to step down from all church functions after they became aware of the allegations in November.
“Our churches are sacred spaces and must remain safe havens for all, especially children and vulnerable individuals,” a spokesperson for the district said in a statement. “We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for sexual misconduct of any kind. Such conduct, if proven, is wholly inconsistent with our faith, our values and the sacred trust placed in clergy leadership.”
Harrisburg Police previously asked anyone with any information about McMullen or who has been a victim of an unreported sexual assault to contact them at 717-558-6900. Tips can also be submitted via CRIMEWATCH.
