The Diocese of Providence announced changes and mergers involving several parishes.
In Warren, Saint Thomas the Apostle Parish will merge into Saint Mary of the Bay Parish.
Saint Brendan Parish and Saint Martha Parish will combine into Saints Brendan and Martha Parish in East Providence.
In Foster, Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Community will be formally dissolved.
Records will be held at Saint Bernard Parish in North Kingstown.
