Fr. Patrick L. Posey
Ordained for the Diocese of Arlington VA in 1991. Assigned to Sacred Heart in Winchester 1991-1995; to the diocesan mission in Banica, Dominican Republic 1995-2003; to St. Francis de Sales in Purcelville as pastor 2003-2006; pastor of St. James in Falls Church 2006-2019; assigned in 2019 as rector of the Cathedral of Saint Thomas More in Arlington. He was also diocesan director of the Pontifical Mission Societies, dean of Deanery 1, director of the Propagation of the Faith for the diocese, board director of Caritas Lebanon and the Black and Indian Missions, and an Air Force Chaplain Candidate Program reserve officer. Posey was placed on leave in 5/2026, due to an allegation that he engaged in sexual misconduct with minors 1992-1993, outside of the diocese. He denied the allegation.
