Former Lexington pastor sentenced for rape and sexual abuse of minor

A former Lexington pastor was sentenced for multiple sex crime charges on Thursday in Fayette Circuit Court.

Zachary King, 48, was sentenced to 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to several charges in March, including:

1. First-degree rape
2. First-degree sodomy
3. Procuring or promoting use of a minor in sexual activities
4. First-degree unlawful transaction with a minor
5. Third-degree rape
6. Third-degree sodomy
7. First-degree sex abuse
