Named publicly as credibly accused by the archdiocese on its list in 10/2022. Allegation(s) noted to have been substantiated after his death. Per his obituary, Ball was assigned to Angel Guardian Orphanage 1962-1967, then St. Simon the Apostle Parish in Chicago, followed by St. Lambert’s in Skokie. He became a Navy chaplain in 1968. Ball retired in 1990 and died in 1999. Included in the 5/23/2023 IL Attorney General’s Report, which notes at least one “reported survivor.”
