Fr. Francis B. Baratto
Parish priest, pastor. Died 9/6/1992. Per his obituary, Baratto “devoted man of his early years in the priesthood to working with young people.” He was a director of the Diocese’s Educational Campus in Buffalo, chaplain at the Erie Community College Newman Club and Mt. St Joseph Academy, and chaplain of the University of Notre Dame Alumni Club. He also directed retreats for high school and college students. Baratto was accused of the sexual abuse of minor(s) in a lawsuit(s) filed in 2020 under the NY Child Victims Act.
