Fr. Honesto Bayranta Bismonte
From the Philippines. Arrived in CA 1981. Assigned to St. Joseph’s in Pomona when removed in 4/2002 due to allegations of abuse of two sisters, ages 12 and 8, 1997-2001. The abuse occurred at the girls’ aunt’s home in Fontana. Arrested. Pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery in 2003. Received two years probation. One of the two sisters filed suit in 11/2019. After the girls came forward in 2002, a 32 woman alleged she was sexually battered by Bismonte ten years prior.
