Fr. James K. Bogert
Named publicly as accused by the diocese on its list in 3/21. Abuse allegedly occurred at the Nassau County Jail and Children’s Center, where Bogert was chaplain beginning in 5/79, and at a movie theater, his car, private home in Clifton Park and Bogert’s home on Long Island. Moved to the Diocese of Palm Beach in 12/92. Per the 2019 Catholic Directory Bogert was retired and living in Santa Cruz, NM.
