Fr. Gerard Boisvert
Accused in a claim settled in 2023 of sexually abusing a boy, ages 11-13, many times during 1963-1965. Boisvert was assigned at the time in question to St. Anthony of Padua in New Bedford. The boy was a parishioner. The abuse allegedly occurred in the sacrasties of both St. Anthony’s and Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in New Bedford.
