Fr. Paul J. Bolduc
Accused on 8/21/2002 of sexually abusing a minor in approximately 1961. Put on administrative leave 8/27/2002 by Cardinal Law. Died in 12/2009. The Boston Archdiocese’s list in 8/2011 notes no that there was no formal determination of guilt either because Bolduc died prior to a canonical investigation or it was not complete at his death. Bolduc’s obituary says he was cleared by the Review Board in 7/2003 and allowed to return to public ministry without restrictions.

Our Database of Publicly Accused does not state or imply that individuals facing allegations are guilty of a crime or liable for civil claims. The reports contained in the database are merely allegations. The U.S. legal system presumes that a person accused of or charged with a crime is innocent until proven guilty. Similarly, individuals who may be defendants in civil actions are presumed not to be liable for such claims unless a plaintiff proves otherwise. Admissions of guilt or liability are not typically a part of civil or private settlements. For more information, see our posting policy.
