Ordained for the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Appointed Pittsburgh Auxiliary Bishop in 1970. Bishop of Greensburg PA 1987 until his 2004 retirement. Died in 2/2013. Accused in 2018 of inappropriately touching a nursing student in the late 1960s, while chaplain and instructor at Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh. Included on the Pittsburgh diocese’s list of those with allegations against them of child sexual abuse.
