Fr. Nathan Brooks
Arrested on 8/31/2023, charged with forcibly touching a teenage girl 2019-2021, beginning when the girl was age 14. He also would text her “flirty” messages. Brooks was the administrator of four parishes when charged. Suspended. Pleaded guilty in 12/2024 to endangering the welfare of a child. Forcible touching charges were dropped in a plea agreement. Sentenced to probation. The Diocese said that Brooks would remain on suspension pending its internal investigation. He was laicized in 8/2026.
