Fr. Lawrence Buckley
Worked early in his priesthood in Puerto Rico, in 1955-72 in the Virgin Islands, and then in Boston for the over 30 years, per his obituary. He died 10/11/08. Accused in a lawsuit that settled in 2020 for $85K of sexually abusing an altar boy at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Roxbury, beginning when the boy was age 7 in 1987. The abuse allegedly continued for four years. Buckley’s accuser came forward to the archdiocese in 2019.
