Fr. Eugene Patrick Burns
Accused of the sexual abuse of a girl, ages 8-13, during 1962-1966, while assigned to St. Catherine Laboure in Glenview. Died in 1/2005. Claim included in a 10/2005 settlement by the Archdiocese with 24 adults alleging abuse by 14 priests. Included in the 5/23/2023 IL Attorney General’s Report, which notes at least two “reported survivors,” of abuse 1962-1966 and in 1985. Included on the Archdiocese’s list of credibly accused.
