Fr. Pierre Celestin Cambiaire
First named publicly as accused on the archdiocese’s list 11/2/2018. Allegation noted to have been received in 1917, of abuse in the late 1910s. Removed from ministry in 1917. Assignments included Sacred Heart of Jesus in Cameron, St. George in Baton Rouge, St. Joseph’s in Grosse-Tete and St. Leon in Leonville. Died in 11/1955. On the Baton Rouge diocese’s list in early 2019 as he worked in the territory in the New Orleans archdiocese which later became the Diocese of Baton Rouge.
