Fr. Willebaldo Castro
Extern priest from the Archdiocese of Tlalnepantla, Mexico. Assigned in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles CA in 1956, then returned to Mexico. Returned to Los Angeles in 1969, assigned there to a parish in 1972. Had been the subject of a “morals charge” in Mexico. Accused in 1975 of abusing a 16-year-old boy. Was moved to another parish. Accused in a lawsuit of molesting another minor in 1977. Per the archdiocese in 2005, there were four accusers. Arrested for approaching a security guard in a store bathroom, apparently for sex. Reportedly returned to Mexico in 1980. Personnel file released in 1/2013.
