Placed on leave in 8/19 after an allegation was made to the IRCP that he sexually abused an 8-year-old boy in 1998 while pastor of Our Lady of Joy in Plum. His alleged victim said he was training for first communion when the priest abused him twice. Cedolia denied the allegations. He was criminally charged in 6/2021. IN 10/2022 the diocese’s list shows his status as “faculties restricted/canonical case pending.” Found not guilty at trial in 11/2022. The diocese announced on 12/20/2022 that Cedolia would be assigned to Replacement Ministry and reside at St. John Vianney Manor.
