Fr. Stanislaus T. Chmura
Chmura’s name was included on the diocese’s list 3/22/2019 of clergy on whose behalf settlements were paid related to allegations of sexual abuse of minors. The allegations against Chmura were deemed not credible. Per a 10/1/2019 report commissioned by the diocese, there was one victim, age 13, abused 1995[sic]-76. Ordained for the Diocese of Richmond, VA. Worked in CT as a visiting priest beginning in 1975. Per his obituary, worked in Korona, FL for 15 years until his death 1/13/2011.
