One of 12 priests and one brother named in a 10/02 lawsuit claiming sexual abuse. Accused of abuse of four boys; he denied charges. Served as chaplain at an all girls school for 17 years, beginning in 1984; placed on leave by diocese in 2002. Named as abuser of one person in a suit filed in 10/03 by 27 plaintiffs alleging abuse by 24 priests. Another man was to claim abuse but died by suicide just before suit filed.
