Fr. John P. Connor
Arrested in Camden in 1984 for abuse of a boy, age 14. Admission. Placed in special court program under which his arrest was expunged after one year if no more problems. Spent eight months in treatment. Transferred to Pittsburgh in 1985, then to Philadelphia 1988-1993. His 1984 victim received a settlement the same year. Returned to Camden in restricted ministry. Removed in 2002. Named in the Philadelphia Grand Jury report 2/10/2011. Settlement related to alleged abuse of a 12- to 14-year-old boy, 1985-1988 in the Pittsburgh PA diocese. Named in the 8/14/2018 PA Grand Jury Report. On Camden diocese’s list 2/13/2019. Per the updated list in 9/22, Connor is deceased.
