Br. John L. Malachy Cosgrove
Religious brother. Professed solemn vows 1959. Named publicly by the Dominicans St Joseph Province on its list in late 2018. It notes an allegation was established in 2018, but not where or when abuse was said to have occurred. Cosgrove became a part of the Province of St. Martin de Porres when it was formed in 1979. (We’re placing him in the New Orleans archdiocese, where Province is based.) Per his obit, worked in Somerset, OH, Philadelphia, PA, Chimbote, Peru, New Haven, CT, New York, NY, St. Dominic Priory New Orleans (1980), Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, Humble, TX and Providence, RI. Died 2/25/11 in New Orleans, where he had lived since 2000.
