Fr. Scott Courtney
In 10/2025 the Diocese announced that Courtney was recently accused of having sexually abused a girl in 1993, when he was a seminarian. The Diocese investigated and determined that Courtney’s ministry was to be limited to providing spiritual support to the diocese’s retired priests. Courtney reportedly denied the allegation. In 2018 Courtney was placed on leave after he was accused of having sexual contact with an adult woman.
