Fr. David G. Crook
Placed on leave in 3/1993. Permanently removed from active ministry in 1/1995 over allegations of sexual misconduct with a teenager “some years ago.” As of 2002, Crook had left the Illinois area. On 1/24/2009 the diocesan website gave his status as “Administrative Leave/Retired.” Included on the diocese’s list 12/19/2018. Included in the 5/23/2023 IL Attorney General’s Report, which notes two “reported survivors.”
