Fr. Francis J. Crowley
Named publicly as accused by Attorney Mitchell Garabedian. Crowley was accused in a lawsuit, which settled in 2025, of sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy in 1978, at St. William Parish in Dorchester. The boy was working on the parish grounds doing maintenance work as part of the city’s Youth Enrichment Services program. Crowley allegedly fondled the boy in his rectory office, which the priest had asked the boy to clean. Crowley died 3/8/2008.
