From Mexico, where he attended the Seminario Diocesano del Senor in Jalisco, Archdiocese of Guadalajara. Ordained for the Diocese of Sacramento CA in 1982. Allegations in 5/2006 of the assault of a 15-year-old boy 1983-1985. Placed on leave. Diocese said there was a “semblance of truth” which warranted further investigation. Abuse was alleged to have occurred at St. Joseph’s in Rio Vista and at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Sacramento. Same accuser filed civil suit 3/2009. Name included on the Diocese’s list 4/30/2019. Permanently removed from ministry in 2006. Sentenced by the Holy See to a life of prayer and penance.
