Fr. James C. Devita
Named publicly as accused by the diocese on its list in 3/2021. Allegedly abused while at St. Rocco in Glen Cove, where he was assigned 1969-1978. The abuse occurred at the parish, in Devita’s car, at a Catholic retreat, at Devita’s family member’s house and at a private home. Last known to be living in Florida. Died in 9/2022.
