Accused by one plaintiff in a civil suit of sexually abusing a number of boys in 1956 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gervais, sometimes in conjunction with Fr. Edmund Raleigh. The accuser said that the two priests forced him to have oral sex with them and watch as they engaged in group sex with other boys. Doherty died 8/6/73.
