Spent the first 25 years of his priesthood in South Dakota. Transferred in 1943 to the Diocese of Buffalo. Died 7/14/1973. In 2018 a man reported to the Diocese that Donnelly sexually abused him when he was an altar boy, age 12, in the early 1970s at St. Monica’s. Donnelly was pastor emeritus of St. Monica’s in the early 1970s.
