Fr. Thomas D. Donnelly
Absent without permission since 1981. Accused in 5/2000 of repeated sexual assaults of a girl, ages 6-11 in 1974-1979. Abuse is alleged at two Boston parishes and during trips to NH that included other girls. He denied the allegation. A 5/31/2001 memo indicated that the Archdiocese deemed it credible. Named by a woman in a lawsuit filed in 2/2002. Personnel filed released 12/2002. Per the 8/2011 Boston archdiocese’s list, either the Review Board found the accusations unsubstantiated or he was acquitted by a canonical process. Restricted. Donnelly died 1/19/2014.
