Absent without permission since 1981. Accused in 5/00 of repeated sexual assaults of a girl, ages 6-11 in 1974-79. Abuse is alleged at two Boston parishes and during trips to NH that included other girls. He denied the allegation. A 5/31/01 memo indicated that the archdiocese deemed it credible. Named in a lawsuit by 1 woman filed in 2/02. Personnel filed released 12/02. Per 8/11 Boston AD database, review board found accusations unsubstantiated or he was acquitted by canonical process. Restricted.
