Civil suit filed in Seattle in 1/2004 by three plaintiffs alleging sexual and physical abuse by seven members of the Congregation of Christian Brothers, including Duffy, at Briscoe Memorial School for Boys in Kent WA in the 1940s-1960s. The school, closed in 1970, was owned by the archdiocese and run by the order. Other men have come forward with stories of their own to support these allegations, including one who filed suit in 1/2008. Claims settled in 11/2008 and 1/2009. Included on the Seattle archdiocese’s list 1/15/2016 of clergy and religious with established, admitted or credible accusations against them of sexual abuse of a minor. Worked at Briscoe Memorial 1958-1959. Deceased.
