Br. Hal Ellis
Accused in a lawsuit filed on behalf of two mentally disabled men living at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center, a retirement home for priests. The men were abused for many years by at least two priests. Settled in 9/2003 for $7.5M. At the time of the settlement, Ellis was ill and unable to communicate.
