Fr. Murty M. Fahy

Teacher at St. Mary High School 1970-1985. Associate pastor at St. Anne’s Church, Lodi 8/1985-3/2001. Died 3/2/2001. Accused in 2006 of abuse of a girl in the mid-1990s at the parish grade school. Police conducted an investigation but were unable to substantiate the allegations. Diocesan officials were still investigating as of 01/2007. A civil suit was filed in 12/2006 by a woman alleging sexual abuse by Fahy when she was ages 5-11. She dismissed the suit in 11/2007, when she was 21, saying she needed to focus on her healing. His name was included on the list of claimed abusers attached to the Stockton diocese’s 5/9/2014 filing in bankruptcy court.
