Fr. John J. Feminelli
Accused of buying presents for a 15-year-old boy in exchange for wrestling matches. Feminelli was a deacon at time; ordained even after charges made by boy and family. Denied the allegations. The family said church did not believe them and drove them away by circulating false information about them. Case dismissed in 1991. Retired 4/16/07. Included on the diocese’s list 1/31/19. In 3/19 Feminelli filed a defamation suit against the diocese. He died 1/22/23.
