Fr. Manuel R.M. Fernandez
From Spain. Monsignor. Placed on leave in 2002 after he was accused of inappropriate conduct with a young girl in 1982. The D.A.’s office said the matter was beyond the statute of limitations. A Diocesan committee recommended Fernandez be removed. He returned to Spain where he was an active priest in the Diocese of Ourense and died at age 71 in 8/2006. Included 2/13/2019 on the Trenton diocese’s list of credibly accused, with multiple victims noted.
