Accused in 1987 to sexually abusing children. Sent to Servants of the Paraclete for treatment. Pled no contest to battery and assault of students at San Fernando Mission minor seminary. Sentenced to three years probation. May have had conviction expunged after probation ended. Worked at Tribunal 1987 until his removal by the archdiocese in 2002. In 1994 sent to St. Luke’s institute for treatment after parishioners complaint he would show up at youth group meetings, at times drunk. Accused in 1997 by a man of abusing him as a boy, age 8 or 9. Accused of abuse by at least eight people. Reportedly abused more than twenty. Fessard was one of six accused priests assigned to Santa Clara Parish in Oxnard 1962-96. Personnel file released 1/13.
