Named publicly as accused by the Diocese on its list 4/29/2015. It notes that there were “criminal accusations” that resulted in acquittal. He was charged in the late 1970s with sexually abusing 5 teenage boys at the Denny Driscoll Boys Home in Butte 5/1976-9/1978. He reportedly resigned due to the allegations in 9/1979 and from the Will and Daisy Brassier Boys’ Ranch in Whitehall. Finnegan was Director of the homes. Finnegan retired 7/1/2002. He died 1/16/2019.
